CU Coventry Campus Officer

My name is Joy! I am the new Campus Officer at CU Coventry. I am studying Public Health and Community Studies. I was previously a Course rep on my course and now decided to embark on this new path. I am really passionate about positive change and overall improvement.

My top three manifesto points this year are:

Enhancing student welfare: I will try my best to advocate for more mental health resources such as counselling services or stress management workshops. Not every student knows where these services are or that they even exist mostly international students who are new to the community/environment and might find it difficult to blend. I will also try and work towards improving accessibility for students with disabilities.
Diversity and Inclusion: I will work to create more inclusive environment by supporting diverse student organisations and events.
Career development: I will collaborate with career services to organise workshops, career fairs and internship opportunities. I will also advocate for the inclusion when it comes to career opportunities.
