Indian Society is a community of students and staff in coventry university dedicated to promoting and celebrating the rich culture and heritage of India. We aim to create awareness and provide a platform for everyone to showcase their talents while fostering an environment of cultural exchange and learning. Our society brings together Indian and non-Indian students and staff who share a passion for Indian culture and traditions. We organize events and activities that allow members to experience different aspects of Indian culture, from language and food to music and dance. We also collaborate with other societies in and outside our unviersity to create opportunities for members to learn about other cultures and promote cross-cultural understanding. Our ultimate goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates the beauty of diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for all members.

Here's what we offer:
To create awareness of the culture and heritage of India amongst everyone: Our workshops, exhibitions, and cultural events will introduce you to the rich history, art, music, literature, and customs of India.
To provide a platform for everyone to showcase their talents: Whether it's music, dance, drama, or art, we provide a platform for you to showcase your talents and express yourself.
To bring together a community of Indian and non-Indian students and staff: Our events are open to all, and we encourage people from diverse backgrounds to come together and experience the beauty of Indian culture.
To make everyone familiarise the languages spoken in India: Our language tutorials and movie screenings are designed to help you explore and learn different Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and more.
To celebrate festivals in different parts of India: Join us as we celebrate Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, and other festivals that are celebrated in different parts of India. Experience the joy, warmth, and traditions associated with these festivals.
