Japanese Society

Our objectives: 

• Encourage learning about Japanese culture, language, and history.

• Provide a friendly and inclusive space for students of all backgrounds.

• Represent students of Japanese heritage.

• Support students with any social or academic issues.

• Help members make friends based around our common interest.

Our activities:

• Japanese movie nights  

• Origami and board games

• Culture familiarisation and fun facts

• Language immersion sessions

• Japanese food workshops 

• Society collaborations

• Japanese restaurant tours

Although none of the committee members are Japanese, this society was originally founded by Japanese students, so we'll follow in their footsteps to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of identity!
