The purpose of our society is to share our Nepalese culture with the rest of students and staff members in Coventry. Our society goes by the name of NSCU, which stands for Nepalese Society Coventry University. We believe that no matter wherever you are around the world, we should be proud to promote and share our culture with everyone. This is why we welcome everyone and anyone to join Nepalese society, whether you are Nepalese or not. We even have a committee member who isn't Nepalese for this year as we take pride in inclusivity.

Last year we had a range of great events such as momo night, chatpate and games, potluck and karaoke and arts and craft which were all very successfull with a big turnouts.
We collab with several societies within Coventry SU and many other university societies nearby so come meet students at other universities.
Our biggest event last year was the bar crawl event we held with Warwick Nepalese Society where we vistied multiple pubs and met
We would like to invite you to join our society, to share our culture, be able to feel at home away from home and have fun with us. We promise you that you will not be disappointed. We hope to see you soon.
Membership fee:
The membership fee will be £5 for the academic year 2024/25.

We do regular social events, such as momo nights, karaoke, bar crawls, sports and celebrate festivals such as Dashian, Tihar, and Nepalese New Year.

Our society was awarded as the Best International & Cultural Society in Societies Festival 2022 and we were also short listed for awards like The Most Improved Society, considering how our society is so new post lockdown after not having a society for a year, we still did an incredible job!
