About the event

What is it?

Our Global Majority Networking Cafe is an opportunity to take some time to network with other members of the community, Meet your community engagement lead, Find out more about the community and what initiatives and events you can get involved with. 
We will be hosting this event within Leaf at the Library, attendees will be able to enjoy a hot drink on us for participating.

 

Who can join?

This event is open to all students, You can drop in any time between 12pm-2pm.
Please bring your student ID card to be able to tap into the event and get your networking digital badge.

 

How do I join the Global Majority community?

This community is for students that are Black, Asian, dual-heritage and/or students who have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’. We aim to offer a safe space to socialise and to meet other students with similar lived experiences and to bring positive change to their university experiences.
You can join the community here, please make sure you are logged into the website.

 

How do I get there?

Leaf at the library is on the ground floor of the lanchester library, Seating is available with plenty of natural light. The building has automatic and manual doors.
