About the event
What is it?
The Carnival is an element of the Activities Fair taking place outside the the hub. It provides an opportunity for students to see societies and sports clubs in action, to meet with members and find out what these student groups are about and how to get involved.
Who can attend?
All students are invited to come and watch and be a part of the parade! It doesn't matter whether you are a brand new student joining in January, or a returning student. If you are interested in joining a society or sports club, it's a great opportunity to see the huge range of groups we have! The participants of the parade will be leaders of our societies and sport clubs.
Where is it and how can I get there?
The parade will commence from the Hub, in a mapped out route around the building between 12:30pm - 1:30pm. The wider Activities fair will be happening inside the Hub from 11am - 3pm, so if you miss the parade, you can still come along and meet everyone!
Societies and clubs will be easily identifiable in their club clothing, or branded sportswear. Your SU officers will be identifiable in their navy blue branded t-shirts/hoodies and finally, staff and student staff in pink SU t-shirts, if you'd like any help or support during the Carnival.
