The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.To mark the week, CU Scarborough staff are leading a Repair Café for textiles items, and Your Students' Union will be providing free refreshments to all.
If you have an item of clothing or some textiles (think cushion covers, bags, bedding, curtains, cuddly toys...) in need of repair, bring them to the café and we'll see if it's possible to fix them. This might be something like a missing button, an undone hem, a tear or rip in the fabric, or a broken zip. Please note you will need to bring necessary items such as replacement items, zips etc!
You can bring any textiles item including children's items - just please ensure that all clothes brought in are clean!
