Hello, students!
We are back with our officer-led tours. The four of us will guide you through a city tour of Coventry, showcasing its main attractions and useful locations for all the new students arriving.
This is a free event, so please register by getting a free ticket to join us on the tour.
The tour will commence at The Hub and proceed towards the Herbert Museum, New Garden, and the Cathedral. We will provide information on essential locations such as bus stops and the Transport Museum. Moving on to the City center, we will start with Boom Battle Bar, shopping centers, the Post Office, and the Library. We can also guide you to more social areas like JJs, HMV, and shopping areas in the Lower Precinct Mall, including the cinemas in this area. Let's not forget to check out the statue of Lady Godiva, and we'll provide a brief history lesson about her 11th-century nude ride through the city.
As we make our way back, we will return through Bank Lane and guide you towards various bank options among the available ones. We'll also share more information on useful locations such as the Train Station and the Police Station. Ivy House, a fantastic place to socialize, will be on our way back to The Hub, and opposite it, you'll find the University GP, Faith Centre and Starley Gardens.
