What is a Course Rep?
Course Reps are current students who represent all the students on their course. They work with Your Students’
Union and the University to improve the student experience by making sure your voice is heard.
Any student can volunteer to be a Course Rep, and a course can have more than one Rep. All you need to do is
complete a short sign-up form and complete some online training.
What do Reps do?
As a Rep you will:
- Gather feedback from your classmates and report it at Student Voice Meetings
- Work with Students’ Union and University staff to help resolve course-related issues
- Act as a key point of contact for students on your course and departmental staff
- Gain key skills and enhance your employability
- Gain access to exclusive activities and opportunities through Your SU
Best of all, becoming a Rep means you’ll join a network of committed CU Scarborough students who are empowered to
make a difference on campus!
Join the Rep team!
Reps are expected to commit a minimum of 2 hours per teaching block to the role. This time is split between
speaking to your classmates to gather feedback and sharing their feedback at Student Voice Meetings, which
take place once per block.
