This paid opportunity allows you to represent students within your school, ensuring their voices are heard on matters related to the learning experience. You will collaborate with university staff, mentor Course Representatives, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the student experience. 

Rep roles are undertaken alongside your studies. To be eligible to apply, you need to:

  • Be a current student studying at Coventry University
  • Not be on a full-time placement during the 2025-26 academic year
  • Be studying until December 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with students, Course Representatives, and staff within your school.
  • Mentor Course Representatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Gather and use student feedback to advocate for positive change.
  • Attend and contribute to University Committee Meetings, Your Voice events, and working groups.
  • Maintain strong communication with Your SU leadership team.
  • Plan and deliver student-focused activities and events.
  • Promote and support the Online Feedback Platform.
  • Provide content for the Your SU website and Aula spaces.
  • Complete all required training for the role.

Time Commitment:

  • 30 hours per semester OR 15 hours per block

Skills & Attributes:

  • Well-organised, reliable, and punctual.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Passionate about student representation and education improvement.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
