You might know that during Blocks 1-4/Semesters 1 & 2 we run regular Student Voice Meetings, which Course Reps attend to share the feedback they have gathered with the University and Your SU. With fewer students on campus over the summer months, during Blocks 5 & 6/Semester 3 we're coming to you directly to ask for your opinions and suggestions about your experience studying at CU Scarborough during Speak Week!

Speak Week will run between Monday 20 and Friday 24 May and you have a variety of ways to participate. Course Leaders and tutors may use some of our Classroom Feedback Packs to collect your thoughts and ideas during your classes. You can come to one of our Speak Week Special Ideas Drop-Ins, taking place on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Or you can share your feedback with us online here!

We read every piece of feedback shared with us. After Speak Week, we'll pull everything together and share what students have to say with university staff to help improve the student experience at CU Scarborough.

Not sure what to tell us? Try thinking about these questions:

  • Is your teaching engaging / interesting / varied / relevant / well-explained?

  • How supported do you feel at CU Scarborough?

  • Are your assignment briefs clear / well-explained / relevant?

  • Is the feedback you receive on assignments useful / constructive / clear / thorough?

  • Do you feel part of a community at CU Scarborough? What sort of events/activities would you like?

  • What do you think of the campus? How about the cafe

  • What's your favourite thing about studying at CU Scarborough?

  • What’s one thing you would change about CU Scarborough?

Do you have ideas about how we can make CU Scarborough better for students? Join the Course Rep team! While we aren't holding Student Voice Meetings again until September, we're always on the lookout for more students who would like to represent their peers to the University, gather feedback and ideas, and make a difference on campus.
