Your students' union is run by students, for students. Each year we give students the opportunity to elect four full-time and nine part-time Officers to represent the views and opinions of students and help shape the direction of our delivery. As they are elected by students, it is important that we provide students with the opportunity to speak directly with officers about their time in the role.
One way we do this is via officer accountability panels, which are held regularly throughout the year. These events give the students an opportunity to find out what work the full-time Officers have done towards their manifesto whilst creating a opportunity for students to ask them any relevant questions. It's a chance for students to hold elected Officers to account, finding out what has been achieved and highlighting where you think the Officers need to focus their work moving forwards.
