Introduce yourself

This is Durga Praveen Komatlapalli. I am the Campus Officer For London Campus, currently studying MSC International Project Management.

What is a Campus Officer?

As a Campus Officer I am an elected student representative who plays a role in bridging the gap between the student community and university management by championing student needs and preferences. I will organise events and initiatives aimed at enriching the campus experience for all students.

What are you going to do in your role?

My role as the Campus Officer is vital in creating a welcoming academic atmosphere for both students and faculty members alike. My tasks involve responsibilities such as organising campus activities and programs and serving as a link between students, staff members and the wider university facilities.

Why did you choose to study at Coventry University London?

Coventry University London caught my attention because of its standing in business education and its prime location in the heart of Londons district. I was enticed by the idea of studying in an cosmopolitan city like London while also having the opportunity to build skills through connections with industry professionals.

What's your favourite thing about London?

London's amazing diversity always surprises me. It feels like a world where you can encounter a variety of cultures through cuisine.

What's your favourite London activity?

I love going for leisurely evening strolls on Tower Bridge; witnessing the bridge and the city come alive with twinkling lights at night feels truly enchanting to me. It's a way to relax after a day and enjoy the stunning vistas of the Thames River and London's skyline.

What advice would you give to new students?

Get involved in clubs and activities. Challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. Starting university life in London may seem overwhelming initially. It's full of opportunities.

Don't forget to take advantage of the University services. Whether it's career advice or academic assistance; they are essential for your achievements.
