It’s been designed to keep the classic look by using icons and stock images already widely known, to allow it to be easily recognised and keep the association of disabled access. Inspired by a holistic view and person-centred practice. Surrounding the individual is icon and symbols that can represent a multitude of disabilities, soon seen and some now. The disabilities represented are brain injury/stoke, cognitive disorders, autism spectrum, Alzheimer’s/dementia, catheters, stomas, wheelchair, mobility, assistance dogs, blind/sight impaired, braille and communication difficulties, deaf/hearing impairments.
